Hayasegawa. ※Man'yoshu (late 8th century) 16:3880 "Picking up the stubborn thread, I picked up the stones, poking them away, and washed them in the Hayakawa River."② Red loincloth (from the fact that a Kyoto samurai named Hayakawa Shuma wore one). [Essays, Kiyū Shōran (1830)] [2][1] A river in the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture. It originates in Lake Ashi, a crater lake in Mount Hakone, flows northeast, joins the Sukumogawa River in Yumoto, and empties into Sagami Bay in Odawara City. Its total length is about 30 kilometers. [2] A river in the western part of Yamanashi Prefecture. It originates in the northern part of the Southern Alps, near Mount Shirane, flows south, and joins the Fujigawa River near Iitomi, Minobu Town. Its total length is about 60 kilometers.
