Japanese: 野郎虫 - やろうむし

Actor Review Record (Yaro Hyoban-ki). Author unknown. Published in early April 1660 (Manji 3). One volume. Edition by Honya Nihei (owned by Tenri Library. Only the latter half survives). There is a later edition with the publication year deleted, edition by Masamotoya Gorobei (origin unknown. However, there is a copy by the Rare Books Copying Society). The first Actor Review Record is Yakusha no Uwasa, published in 1656 (Meireki 2), and the origin is unknown, so this is the oldest Actor Review Record in existence. This book contains reviews of 41 kabuki actors from Kyoto Shijo Kawara (Murayama-za, Ebisu-ya Yoshirobei-za, Nakamura Kangoro-za), including the first Tamagawa Sennojo.

役者評判記(野郎評判記)。著者不詳。1660年(万治3)4月上旬刊。1冊。本屋仁兵衛版(天理図書館蔵。後半のみ伝存)。なお，刊年を削った後刷本に，正本屋五郎兵衛版(伝本不明。ただし，稀書複製会本がある)がある。役者評判記で最初のものとされる，1656年(明暦2)刊の《役者の噂》が，伝本不明のため，現存最古の役者評判記といえる。本書は，初世玉川千之丞以下41人の京都四条河原(村山座，夷屋（えびすや）吉郎兵衛座，中村勘五郎座)の歌舞伎役者の評判を収録。
