speaker

Japanese:
speaker
A loudspeaker is an abbreviation of loudspeaker, and is also called a loudspeaker or a loudspeaker. It is a device that converts an electric signal into a corresponding mechanical signal using electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling, and then converts it into sound by connecting it to a diaphragm, cone, horn, etc. Depending on the principle, there are magnetic speakers, dynamic speakers, condenser speakers, etc., as well as special ones for high frequencies such as magnetostrictive and dielectric types. In terms of structure, they are broadly classified into cone types, where the cone-shaped diaphragm is in direct contact with the air, and horn types, where the diaphragm is in contact with the air through a horn. The former is generally further equipped with a flat baffle, cabinet, horn, etc. to improve the acoustic effect. In general, it is difficult to make a single speaker that reproduces the entire range of audible frequencies with high fidelity, so a combination of speakers dedicated to ultra-high, high, mid, low, and ultra-low frequencies with narrow ranges of sound but good characteristics is used. Depending on how many speakers are combined, they are called two-way speaker systems, three-way speaker systems, etc. In addition, the ultra-high range is called a super tweeter, the high range is called a tweeter, the mid-range is called a squawker (also called a midrange), the low range is called a woofer, and the ultra-low range is called a super woofer.
