Fujihiro Hasegawa
1567-1617 Azuchi-Toyotomi: A samurai from the early Edo period.
Born in 1667. One of Tokugawa Ieyasu's close aides. In 1606, he became the magistrate of Nagasaki, and was responsible for cracking down on Christians and managing foreign trade. In 1611, he and Arima Harunobu attacked a Portuguese ship, causing it to self-destruct. In 1616, he also became the magistrate of Sakai. He died on October 26, 1620. He was 51 years old. He was from Ise (Mie Prefecture). He was commonly known as Sahyoe.

永禄(えいろく)10年生まれ。徳川家康の側近のひとり。慶長11年(1606)長崎奉行となり,キリシタンの取り締まり,外国貿易の管理などにあたる。14年有馬晴信とともにポルトガル船を攻撃し自爆させた。19年堺奉行もかねる。元和(げんな)3年10月26日死去。51歳。伊勢(いせ)(三重県)出身。通称は左兵衛。
