This refers to a gas turbine that runs on the exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine, and a steam turbine that generates power using low-pressure steam discharged from a steam engine or factory. In the former, an exhaust turbine is attached to the engine exhaust pipe, and this power drives a compressor attached to the intake pipe, supercharging the engine with pressurized air.
