...They hatch in about 110 days. The Galapagos land iguana , Conolophus subcristatus , which is distributed on the same island, is about 1.1 meters long and lives in the inland part of the island, different from the marine iguana. It feeds on cactus shoots, fruits, and other plant matter, and its tail is not flattened like the marine iguana's.
