Inexhaustible Plum Blossoms - Baikamujinzo

Japanese: 梅花無尽蔵 - ばいかむじんぞう
Inexhaustible Plum Blossoms - Baikamujinzo
A collection of poems and prose by the mid-Muromachi Zen monk Banri Shuku. 7 volumes. The title is taken from a poem by Rikuyu of the Southern Song dynasty, who influenced the author, "Yo shika mugenzo, jin jin ren ren ren kore sode obi kogo ki ni," (Yo shika munginzo, jin ren ren kore sode obi kogo ki ni). The author also gave the same name to his hermitage in Unuma, Mino. The last date in the work is from March 1502 (Bunki 2), and the author himself has organized and classified the text, arranging each category in chronological order. Notes to the author are added under the title and at the end of each sentence. The main text and notes contain articles that describe the various places the author visited. Included in Gozan Bungaku Shinshu and Zoku Gunsho Ruiju.
