Agricultural facilities

Japanese: 農業施設 - のうぎょうしせつ

A general term for facilities required for agricultural production and the preparation and storage of products. Broadly speaking, there are crop cultivation facilities, animal breeding facilities, processing/preparation facilities, and storage facilities. It does not include facilities that involve primary processing such as brewing or fermentation. All of these facilities aim to streamline operations and improve efficiency, but the problem is that they require a large amount of money to build and operate.

This refers to glasshouses, vinyl greenhouses, irrigation equipment, transportation monorails, and seedling facilities for various crops for growing horticultural crops.

農業生産および生産物の調製や貯蔵に必要とされる施設の総称。大別すると，作物栽培施設，動物飼育施設，加工･調製施設および貯蔵施設などがある。醸造や発酵など一次加工を伴うものは含まれない。いずれの施設も作業の合理化や能率の向上などを目的とするものであるが，設備の建設や運用に多額の経費を要することに問題がある。

　園芸作物を栽培するためのガラス室，ビニルハウス，灌水装置，運搬用モノレールおよび各種作物の育苗施設などをさす。
