There are two types of network services: "broad services" which refer to the services of the entire network, including the information transfer service itself that the network provides to users, and narrow services which refer to the services provided by specific applications when the network is considered a black box. Here, we will explain the latter. In the case of a telephone network, services include not only regular communication with specific parties, but also a variety of other services such as weather forecasts, time reports, and information services from specific companies.
