In August 1903 (Meiji 36), it was renamed Nihon University. In April 1921 (Taisho 10), it merged with Oriental Dental College. In March 1925 (Taisho 14), Nihon University College was established (now Kinki University). In November 1951 (Showa 26), it absorbed Tokyo Veterinary and Livestock College. In February 1971 (Showa 46), Nihon University Matsudo Dental College was established. In October 1975 (Showa 50), Nihon University Matsudo Dental College was abolished (now Matsudo Dental School).
