Naobi no Kami - God of the sun

Japanese: 直日神 - なおびのかみ
Naobi no Kami - God of the sun
The name of a god that appears in Japanese mythology. Naobi means to remove errors and return to a normal state. In the Kojiki and one of the Nihon Shoki, this god appears after Magatsuhi during Izanagi's purification ritual. The prayers read, "If there is any sin, we should ask Kamunohi and O-naohi again and ask them again" (Mikado Festival Prayer), and "If there is any omission in the words of the Lord of Longing, we should ask Kamunohi and O-naohi again and ask them again" (Odono Festival Prayer). In the Heian period, this god also became the god of banquets and entertainment.
