Traffic (marking) paint

Japanese: トラフィックペイント(英語表記)traffic (marking) paint
Traffic (marking) paint
Paint applied to road surfaces to clearly indicate the path of vehicles and pedestrians, stop lines, etc. Also known as road marking paint. Because it is applied to road surfaces with heavy traffic, it is required that it dries quickly, that the coating film be elastic and abrasion resistant, and that it be resistant to oil and alkali and durable. There are two types: room temperature type, which is applied at room temperature, and welding type, which is applied by heating and melting. The main ingredients of the room temperature type are white or yellow pigment, extender pigment, and synthetic resin varnish, while the main ingredients of the welding type are white or yellow pigment, filler, and natural or synthetic resin.
