Chinese politician and scholar in the mid-Tang Dynasty. His courtesy name was Junxiang. Born into a family of bureaucrats, which had been in power since his great-grandfather, he held various government positions. He was an admirer of the Two Tax Laws, and worked under Yang Yan, who created them, to implement them. He was responsible for transporting food when rebellions broke out in the three Hebei and other feudal domains shortly after the law was enacted. He went on to serve as governor of the two feudal domains of Lingnan and Huainan before becoming prime minister, and was highly trusted by Emperor Xianzong. He wrote the book Tsuten (200 volumes).

中国，唐中期の政治家，学者。字は君郷。曾祖父以来の官僚の家に生れ，諸官を歴任。両税法の賛美者で，この税法を始めた楊炎のもとでその遂行にあたり，施行直後起った河北三鎮などの藩鎮の反乱討伐の際，食糧輸送の任を果した。さらに嶺南，淮南2藩鎮の節度使などを経て宰相となり，憲宗の信任が厚かった。著書『通典 (つてん) 』 (200巻) 。
