Alban Berg Quartet, Vienna

A young chamber orchestra formed in 1970. The name of the orchestra was chosen with the consent of Madame Berg, and the main repertoire is works by the so-called Second Viennese School of the first half of the 20th century, such as Schoenberg, Webern, and Berg.
