Ushikatabushi - Ushikatabushi

...A labor song from the Shimohei and Waga districts of Iwate Prefecture. Strictly speaking, there is a distinction between "Ushiho-bushi," a road song about carrying luggage on the back of a cow, and "Ushioi-uta," a purely grazing song, but recently the two have been mixed together and simply called "Ushioi-uta." The most commonly sung song is "Sawauchi Ushioi-uta" (Even though it's a rural area, the southern country is yo, both east and west are saahae, the golden mountains are korasansae, ha-rayopapaapapa) from the Kazuno Highway and Senboku Highway that cross the Ou Mountains.
