Kokutaiji Temple
[1] A Rinzai sect Nanzenji temple in Akkeshi Town, Kushiro Subprefecture, Hokkaido. The mountain name is Keiunzan. It is one of the three official temples founded in Bunka 1 ( 1804 ) by the Edo Shogunate for the purpose of pacifying the eastern Ezo. It was founded by Bun'o. [2] A Soto sect temple in Koiue , Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City. It was originally a Rinzai sect temple. The mountain name is Horaizan. The temple name comes from Toyotomi Hideyoshi's posthumous name Kokutaiin . It was founded in Bunroku 3 ( 1594 ) by Mori Terumoto. It was founded by Ekei . It was originally called Ankokuji. In Keicho 6 ( 1601 ), Fukushima Masanori welcomed Fusho and changed the name to the current sect. It is the family temple of the Asano clan. It was moved from Nakamachi, Naka Ward, Takaoka City in 1978. [3] It is the head temple of the Kokutai-ji branch of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism, located in Ota, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Its mountain name is Mount Macho. It was founded by Jion Myoi in 1299. It was originally called Tosho-ji, but in 1328 it was given an imperial seal by Emperor Go-Daigo and became Kokutai-ji. It fell into ruin during the Onin War, but was rebuilt in 1546 by Setsutei Shukuyo under the imperial decree of Emperor Gonara. It became independent in 1905 .

[一] 北海道釧路支庁厚岸(あっけし)町にある臨済宗南禅寺派の寺。山号は景運山。文化元年(一八〇四)江戸幕府が東蝦夷(ひがしえぞ)の鎮撫(ちんぶ)を目的に創建した三官寺の一つ。開山は文翁。[二] 広島市西区己斐上(こいうえ)にある曹洞宗の寺。もと臨済宗。山号は鳳来山。寺名は豊臣秀吉の諡号(しごう)国泰院に由来する。文祿三年(一五九四)毛利輝元の創建。恵瓊(えけい)の開山。はじめ安国寺と称した。慶長六年(一六〇一)福島正則が普照を迎えて現宗に改め改称した。浅野氏の菩提寺。昭和五三年(一九七八)同市中区中町から移転。[三] 富山県高岡市太田にある臨済宗国泰寺派の大本山。山号は摩頂山。正安元年(一二九九)慈雲妙意の開山。はじめ東松寺と称したが、嘉暦三年(一三二八)後醍醐天皇の勅額を賜わり、国泰寺となる。応仁の乱に会い荒廃したが、天文一五年(一五四六)雪庭祝陽が後奈良天皇の勅により再興。明治三八年(一九〇五)独立。
