Equivalent conductivity

Also called equivalent conductivity. It is the quantity that expresses the electrical conductivity of 1 gram equivalent of an electrolyte solution, and is expressed as the product of the volume of an electrolyte solution containing 1 gram equivalent of solute and the specific electrical conductivity, and the unit is usually cm2/Ω. Here, specific electrical conductivity is the reciprocal of resistivity. Equivalent conductivity increases with increasing dilution and temperature. 当量導電度ともいう。電解質溶液の1グラム当量の導電性を表す量で，溶質1グラム当量を含む電解質溶液の体積と比電気伝導率との積として示され，単位はふつうcm2/Ωが用いられる。ここで比電気伝導率は比抵抗の逆数である。当量伝導率は希釈度の増大および温度の上昇に伴って増大する。【日向 実保】
