Biographies of Chinese painters from the late Tang Dynasty. 1 volume. Written by Zhu Jingxuan. It is estimated that it was written after the death of Emperor Wenzong (840) and before the abolition of Buddhism in the 5th year of Huichang (845). It divides 124 painters from the Tang Dynasty into three categories: divine, mysterious, and noble, and further classifies each category into upper, middle, and lower categories. It also includes three painters with excellent painting styles. This book is essential for biographical research on Tang Dynasty painters. It is included in Wangshi Shuhuayuan, Huapin Congshu, etc.

中国，唐末の画家伝。1巻。朱景玄の撰。撰述年代は文宗の没 (840) 後，会昌5 (845) 年の廃仏以前と推定されている。唐代の 124人の画家を神，妙，能の三品に分け，各品をさらに上，中，下に分けて格づけをし，ほかに逸品 (→逸品画風 ) 3人を加えたもの。唐代画家の伝記研究に不可欠の書。『王氏書画苑』『畫品叢書』など所収。
