Mukanna Rebellion - Mukanna Rebellion

A rebellion (776-783) led by Hashim bin Hakim (?-783), nicknamed Muqanna' al-Muqanna (the Masked One), in Mawarannahr. The rebels, known as Mubayyiḍa (the White-robed One), were made up of local Khorramite peasants and Turkish tribesmen. Muqanna was considered the last of the divine incarnations in the prophets, beginning with Adam and ending with Abu Muslim (according to another report, Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyya). 〈ムカンナーal‐Muqanna‘(覆面者)〉とあだ名されたハーシム･ブン･ハキームHāshim b.Ḥakīm(？‐783)がマー･ワラー･アンナフルで起こした反乱(776‐783)。反徒はムバイイダal‐Mubayyiḍa(白衣を着る者)と称され，ホッラム教徒の現地の農民と，トルコ人部族民からなり，ムカンナーはアダムに始まりアブー･ムスリム(別の報告ではムハンマド･ブン･アルハナフィーヤ)に至る預言者に具現された神の化身の最後とされた。
