Light - Only light

A mountain in the southern part of the Akaishi Mountain Range, on the border between Kawanehon-cho, Haibara-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture and Iida City, Nagano Prefecture. It is 2,592 meters above sea level. It is also called Misumi-dake. It is located within the Southern Alps National Park, and the ridge is unique with its wide flat surface, grassland-like flower fields, and alpine topography known as a double ridge. The source of the Sumata River on the southwest side of the summit is designated as a pristine natural environment conservation area. The community of stone pine trees around Hikariiwa, just below the summit, is said to be its southern limit. The shortest route to the summit is from Shimoguri in Iida City via Ekirowado and Iro-dake, taking eight hours one way.

静岡県榛原(はいばら)郡川根本町(かわねほんちょう)と長野県飯田市(いいだし)との境界にある赤石山脈(あかいしさんみゃく)南部の山。標高2592メートル。三隅岳(みすみだけ)ともよばれる。南アルプス国立公園内にあり、山稜(さんりょう)部は平坦(へいたん)面が広く、草原状のお花畑、二重山稜とよぶ高山地形など特異である。山頂南西部側の寸又川(すまたがわ)源流部は原生自然環境保全地域に指定されている。山頂直下にある光岩周辺のハイマツ群落はその南限といわれる。登頂の最短コースは、飯田市下栗から易老(えきろう)渡、易老岳を経るもので、片道8時間。
