[1] 土を載せて運ぶ二輪車。現代の大八車の祖型。※車屋本謡曲・土車（1430頃）「すまで世に経る土車、めぐるや雨のうき雲」[2] 謡曲。四番目物。観世・喜多流。世阿彌作。深草少将は妻に死別した悲しみのあまり一子を見捨てて出家する。家臣小次郎は幼君を土車に乗せて諸国を尋ね歩き、ついには心も乱れて善光寺に至るが、ここで父子はめでたく再会する。男物狂物(おとこものぐるいもの)。
