Also, a low, solemn sound or tone. ※Taiheiki (late 14th century) 21 "When Shinichi went up the triple -layered ko, Kakuichi put it in the first layered otsu and sang it in a pomp ." ④ When reading Chinese books, a red mark is made at the end of a sentence, or a note is made next to a missing character. ⑤ A type of playing style in Noh music. The drum is lightly struck, and the plectrum is struck without immediately releasing it from the leather, making a "don" sound.
