Choyagunsai

A collection of similar books from the late Heian period. 30 volumes (21 currently extant). Compiled by Miyoshi Tameyusu. Completed in 1116 (Eikyu 4). Tameyusu excerpted poetry and prose collections such as "Honcho Monzui," ritsuryo kakushiki, and ceremonial texts, and searched for and compiled excerpts from documents stored in the government treasury. The purpose was to create a collection of literary models to serve as a reference for government affairs, and to gather materials that were as relevant to the times as possible, so that future generations could use them as a reference. The preface states that the book was completed in "Eikyu 4," but since it contains many later writings, it is believed that he finally stopped writing in his final years (around 1133). The extant version contains duplications, additions, and inaccuracies, so it may have been an unfinished draft. It contains poetry and prose documents spanning four centuries, but is concentrated on the period from Emperor Gosanjo to the Shirakawa Insei period, making it a valuable resource for learning about the systems of the time. Overall, it shows the breadth of the editor's perspective and the depth of his scholarship.

平安後期の類書。30巻（現存21巻）。三善為康(みよしためやす)編。1116年（永久4）成立。為康が『本朝文粋(ほんちょうもんずい)』以下の詩文集や律令格式(りつりょうきゃくしき)の類、儀式書などを抜粋し、府庫に所蔵される文書を尋ね出し、抄出して部類編纂(へんさん)したものである。その目的は、政務の参考となる文範集をつくり、なるべく時代に即応した材料を集めて後進の参考に資する点にあった。序文に「永久(えいきゅう)四年」に完成とあるが、その後の文章も多く含まれるので、彼の最晩年（1133ころ）にようやく擱筆(かくひつ)したと思われる。現存本に重複、追補、錯簡(さくかん)がみられ、未定稿であったか。4世紀にわたる詩文文書を収めるが、後三条(ごさんじょう)天皇から白河(しらかわ)院政期に集中しており、当時の制度を知るうえに貴重であり、全体的に編者の視野の広さと学問の深さがうかがえる。『新訂増補国史大系』29上所収。
