Spartakus Gruppe (English spelling)

...Abbreviated as KPD. It was formed in 1918 by the Spartakus Gruppe (Internazionale), which developed from the left wing of the German Social Democratic Party before World War I and formed its own organization during the war, and the Bremen left-wing radical Bremer Linke. The Spartacists were organized under the leadership of Rosa Luxemburg and K. Liebknecht, and opposed the party mainstream, which supported the government's war policy, and published an illegal magazine that advocated anti-war and revolutionary actions. The name of this magazine became the name of the group.
