A market where goods are traded, that is, a place where buying and selling takes place. Organized markets are broadly divided into unorganized and organized markets, the former being further divided into commodity exchanges and wholesale markets, and the latter into various other categories such as regional and industry-specific markets. Among organized markets, commodity exchanges are particularly modernized, and they play the following roles: (1) determining fair prices, (2) adjusting supply and demand, (3) acting as an insurance bridge, (4) equalizing prices, and (5) ensuring the safety of transactions.
