"Ehon Taikouki" - Ehon Taikouki

...Based on the biography of Toyotomi Hideyoshi from the end of the Sengoku period. The subject is known from the documentary novel Shinsho Taikoki and the illustrated book Ehon Taikoki, published between 1797 (Kansei 9) and 1802 (Kyowa 2). There are around 30 puppet theatre pieces alone.
