Chozan Islands

Japanese: 長山列島 - ちょうざんれっとう

An archipelago dotted in the Yellow Sea, east of the Liaodong Peninsula in northeastern China. Also known as the Changshan Islands. Divided into two archipelago groups, the Outer Changshan Islands and the Outer Changshan Islands, with seven islands, including Shoshi and Kaiyo, and the Ura Changshan Islands, with 12 islands, including Onagayama and Kochoyama. After the Russo-Japanese War, it was a Japanese leased territory, but now it is part of the city of Dalian. The surrounding area is one of the best fishing grounds in the Yellow Sea.

中国東北地区，遼東半島東側の黄海上に点在する列島。長山群島とも。裏・外の２列島に分かれ，外長山列島は【しょう】子・海洋など７島から，裏長山列島は大長山・小長山など12島からなる。日露戦争後，日本の租借地であったが，現在は大連市に属する。付近は黄海有数の好漁場。
