...The name Komachigoke comes from the beautiful shape of the plant, which resembles Ono no Komachi. The same genus, H. hookeri (Smith) Nees, is distributed in Europe and North America, and is rarely found in the high mountains of the Chubu region in Japan. Unlike Komachigoke, the leaves are diamond-shaped and the edges are slightly cut.
