Nakayama
The former area of ​​eastern Daisen Town in western Tottori Prefecture. It stretches from the northern slope of Mt. Daisen to the Japan Coast. In 1957, Nakayama Village and Osaka Village were merged to form a town. In 2005, it was merged with Daisen Town and Nawa Town to form Daisen Town. Shimoichi developed as a post town on the San'in Road in the early Edo period. In addition to rice cultivation, it produces Nijisseiki pears and also raises livestock. Turban shells and flounder are specialty products along the coast. It is home to Taikyu Temple, Kinone Shrine, and the southernmost area where the Japanese rose, a nationally designated natural monument, grows naturally. Part of the area belongs to Daisen-Oki National Park.

Nakayama

This is the former town area in the southeastern part of Iyo City, in central Ehime Prefecture. It is in the northern part of the Uchiyama Basin. It occupies a small amount of flat land in the upper reaches of the Nakayama River, a tributary of the Hijikawa River, at the southern end of the Ishizuchi Mountains. It was incorporated as a town in 1925. It merged with Saretani Village in 1955. In 2005 it merged with Iyo City and Futami Town to form Iyo City. The central settlement, Nakayama, is a post town on the Ozu Highway, and Izubuchi prospers as a commercial center in the mountain basin. It is famous for its Nakayama chestnuts, and tourist chestnut orchards have been opened since the 1960s. Mandarin orange orchards are increasing on the mountainside, and tobacco is also grown.

Nakayama

This area is located in the western part of Chiba Prefecture, on the border between the southeastern part of Ichikawa City and Funabashi City. It developed as a temple town of Hokekyoji Temple, one of the four main temples of the Nichiren sect. Since the 1960s, the number of people commuting to Tokyo has increased dramatically, and the area has become rapidly urbanized. Nakayama Racecourse is located on the Funabashi side.

愛媛県中部,伊予市南東部の旧町域。内山盆地の北部にある。石鎚山脈の南端部,肱川の支流中山川上流域のわずかな平地を占める。 1925年町制。 1955年佐礼谷村と合体。 2005年伊予市,双海町と合体して伊予市となる。中心集落の中山は大洲街道の宿場町,出渕は山間盆地の商業中心地として繁栄。中山栗の名産地で,1960年代から観光クリ園も開かれ,山腹にはミカン園が増加,タバコの栽培も行なわれる。

千葉県西部,市川市南東部と船橋市の境界一帯の地域。日蓮宗四大本山の一つ法華経寺の門前町として発達した。 1960年代以降は東京への通勤者が激増し,急激に都市化している。船橋市側に中山競馬場がある。
