?-1492 The 16th king of the Pegu dynasty, a Mon nation with its capital in Pegu in southern Myanmar. Reigned 1459-92. His Pali title was Ramadhipati. He lived as a nun in Aba, the capital of the Aba dynasty, but was asked by Shinsawbu, the daughter of King Razadari of the Pegu dynasty, who had been a hostage as the wife of the successive kings of the Aba dynasty, such as Thihat and Mohnin, to help her escape, and escaped to Pegu with the monk Dhammanyana, who was his confidant. Shinsawbu ascended to the throne as queen of the Pegu dynasty under the name Binyachandaw, but retired seven years later, at his request, he returned to secular life, married the princess of Shinsawbu, and ascended to the throne in 1459.
