[Joint classification and movement patterns]
Each joint performs various complex movements according to its purpose, but if we classify the joints in the whole body according to the type of movement they perform, we can divide them into three types: uniaxial joints, biaxial joints, and multiaxial joints. A uniaxial joint is a joint that can only flex and extend, such as the elbow joint, and in this case there is only one axis of movement, which runs horizontally across the elbow joint.
