A cosmetic made primarily from talc that reduces sweat and improves the feel of the skin. It is known as "asaerazu" (sweat-free). As the Arabic root of its name, talc (to be liberated, to become bright), suggests, talc is highly transparent. It is also called wax stone, as it is soft like wax and has white, scaly or fine crystals with a pearly luster. This allows it to spread smoothly on the skin and aid in the evaporation of sweat. Talcum powder is made of more than 90% talc, with a small amount of magnesium stearate added to increase adhesion, and is blended with disinfectants such as boric acid and fragrances.
