Construction net - Tateami

A type of fishing net. Generally known as a fixed net, it consists of three parts: a bag net, a enclosure net, and a fence net, but sometimes the bag net also doubles as an enclosure net, making it two parts, or the enclosure net is divided into a playground and a climbing net, making it four parts when the bag net and fence net are added. Most of them are a single long net called a fence net that is stretched out from the coast toward the open sea, blocking off the water from the surface to the bottom, so that fish migrating along the coast change course when they come into contact with the net, are guided offshore along the fence net, and fall into the enclosure net entrance or bag net entrance at the end of the fence net. The nets are fixed in place with anchors or a ring, as they are laid out in a suitable location for a long period of time according to the migration of fish. This category also includes platform nets, set nets, stretch nets, square nets, and drop nets.

網漁具の一種。一般に定置網とよばれる漁具で、袋網(ふくろあみ)部、囲網(かこいあみ)部および垣網(かきあみ)部の3部からなるが、ときには袋網部が囲網部を兼ねて垣網部と2部の場合もあり、また囲網部が運動場部と登網(のぼりあみ)部に分かれ袋網部、垣網部を加えて4部となることもある。多くのものは海岸から沖合いに向けて垣網とよぶ1枚の長い網を張り出し、水面から水底までを遮断するので、沿岸に回遊してきた魚はこの網に当たって進路を変更し、垣網に沿いつつ沖合いの方向に誘導され垣網の先端にある囲網入口または袋網入口ヘ落ち込むような構造となっている。魚群の来遊に応じて適当な一定の場所に長期に敷設するので網は錨(いかり)や土俵などで固定設置されている。台網、出し網、張網(はりあみ)、桝網(ますあみ)、落し網などもこの類に含まれる。
