The form of legislation issued by the Dajokan after the Meiji Restoration. After 1873, those with nationwide effect were called proclamations, and those limited to each ministry or agency were called announcements or notices (later, those that were only issued temporarily were called public notices). This corresponds to later laws. With the start of the cabinet system, it was abolished in 1886, but it is still valid today as long as it does not violate the current Constitution of Japan, as well as the era of the old constitution (Imperial Constitution). → Related topics: Law on slander | Ordinance on assembly | Sword ban Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
