Imperial Court Ceremony - DairigishikiDairishiki

Imperial Court Ceremony - DairigishikiDairishiki
A book of court ceremonies from the early Heian period. The Catalogue of Lawyers of Japan lists it as "Dairi Ceremonies in one volume" and "Dairi Ceremonies in three volumes," but currently only missing copies of both remain. Looking at the catalog, the current version, and the fragments together, it seems that the Dairi Ceremonies were revised based on the Dairi Ceremonies, but there are many cases in which the two books have been confused in later generations. According to the preface and postscript of the current version of the Dairi Ceremonies, it was revised in 821 (Kōnin 12) by the Minister of the Right Fujiwara Fuyutsugu and others by imperial order of Emperor Saga, and then in 833 (Tenchō 10) the Minister of the Right Kiyohara Natsuno and others revised it in accordance with the current situation, and some of the current version also has annotations from the Jowa era (834-848).
