A movement and ideological trend that emerged from the combination of anarchism and the labor union movement, mainly in France in the late 19th century. Revolutionary syndicalism. It rejected the state and political power, and sought to take direct action against capitalists based on syndica (unions), ultimately abolishing the relationship between capital and wage labor through general strikes. It was strongly opposed to the parliamentary system. It spread to Italy, Spain, and other countries, and also influenced British guild socialism, the Industrial Workers of the World in the United States, and the Japanese labor movement around 1920. → Related articles Anna Boll controversy | Kotoku Shusui | Syndicalism | Universal Suffrage Movement Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
