One of the fundamental legal codes of the Ming Dynasty in China. Initially, the Ming Dynasty compiled legal codes, but because the contents of the codes were very simple, various individual codes were created as administrative regulations that included the contents of the codes. However, as these codes began to lack comprehensiveness, the Huidian was compiled to consolidate the previous codes. First compiled by Xu Pu and others in 1502 (the 15th year of the Hongzhi era) at the request of the emperor, but it was not distributed. It was revised and published in 10th year of the Zhengde era (the 5th year of the Zhengde era). This is called the Zhengde Huidian (180 volumes). Later, Zhang Juzheng and others further revised it, and the Wanli Huidian (228 volumes) was distributed in 87th year of the Wanli era (the 15th year of the Wanli era). It is a fundamental historical source on the systems of the Ming Dynasty.

中国，明代の根本的法典の一つ。当初明では律令の編集を行なったが，令の内容は非常に簡単だったので，その内容を含む行政法規として種々の単行法典が作られた。しかしそれら諸法典の間に総合性を欠くようになったので，従来の諸法典を総括するものとして会典が編集された。まず弘治 15 (1502) 年徐溥らが勅を奉じて編集したが，これは頒布されず，それを修訂して正徳5 (10) 年に刊行された。これを『正徳会典』 (180巻) という。その後さらに張居正らが増修して，万暦 15 (87) 年に『万暦会典』 (228巻) が頒布された。明代の制度に関する根本史料である。
