Isshiki [town] - Isshiki
A former town in Hazu District facing Chita Bay in southern Aichi Prefecture. Isshiki, located at the mouth of the Ichigo River, developed as a fishing port. Seaweed and freshwater fish are cultivated, and rice, persimmons, and vegetables are also produced. Seafood products such as shrimp crackers are also processed. In April 2011, it was incorporated into Nishio City along with Kira Town and Hazu Town in Hazu District. 22.53 km2 . Population 23,829 (2010).
