...This spread all over the world, and the actions of the German Workers' and Singers' Union and its members, such as composers Eisler and Heinz Tiessen (1887-1971), were one example. In 1925, in the Soviet Union, AADavidenko, Belyi VBBelyi and others organized the Russian Association of Proletarian Musicians (RAPM) in Moscow. However, following the dissolution and reorganization of literary and artistic organizations based on a party decision in 1932, it was absorbed into the Union of Soviet Composers (renamed the Union of Composers of the USSR in 1957) and eventually dissolved.
