An island located 1.3 km north of Nishihenna Misaki, at the northern tip of Miyako Island, Okinawa Prefecture. It is one of the Miyako Islands and belongs to Miyakojima City. In the local dialect, it is called Ikima. It has an area of 2.83 square kilometers. It is a low, flat island covered with Ryukyu limestone, with a highest point of 28 meters. There are good fishing grounds around the island, such as the reefs of Yaebishi. It was once a base for deep-sea fishing in the south. It is connected to Miyako Island by the Ikema Bridge.
