This is a supplement to the Complete Tang Poems, compiled during the Edo period. It was edited by Ichikawa Senei (pen name Kansai), a Confucian scholar of the Toyama Domain and a Chinese poet. Since the days of cultural exchange between Japan and China, there have been many Chinese books imported to Japan and books reprinted in Japan, among which are Tang dynasty works that were lost in China and not included in the Complete Tang Poems. This book has searched through these works and has found 72 poems and 279 verses written by 126 people and anonymous poets, compiled into three volumes, upper, middle and lower, and published in 1804 (Bunka 1). 82 of the 126 poets were not included in the Complete Tang Poems. It is academically valuable, and was reprinted in China in 1823 (Daoguang 3), included in the Chifusokusai Sosho, and is also included in the Beijing edition of the Complete Tang Poems.
