Japanese: 洗心洞劄記 - せんしんどうさつき

Written by Oshio Heihachiro. 2 volumes. Published in 1835 (Tenpo 6). Volume 1 has 180 articles, Volume 2 has 139 articles. It is a collection of essays, but it preaches an ascetic theory of self-cultivation that leads to the vast void, which is the origin of all things in the universe and also the essence of the mind. At the end of the reprinted edition, a collection of criticisms of the book by Confucian scholars of the time is included as an "appendix excerpt."

大塩平八郎の著。2巻。天保6（1835）年刊。上巻 180条，下巻 139条。随想録であるが，宇宙万物の根源であり，同時に心の本体でもある太虚にいたる禁欲的な修養論が説かれている。重刊本の巻末には，この書に対する当時の儒学者の批判を集めたものが「付録抄」として収められている。
