Empress of the 5th Emperor Yingzong of the Northern Song Dynasty. She was from Bozhou (Anhui Province). Her surname was Gao. She was also known as Empress Dowager Gao. After the death of the 6th Emperor Shenzong, she became regent when Zhezong came to power because she was young. She appointed Sima Guang and other members of the Old Law Party to abolish the New Law.

中国，北宋の第5代皇帝英宗の皇后。亳 (はく) 州 (安徽省) の人。姓は高氏。高太后ともいう。第6代神宗の死後，哲宗が立つと年少のため摂政となり，司馬光をはじめ旧法党の人物を用い，新法を廃止した。
