Located in Shimonogo, Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. The deities enshrined are Ikushima-no-kami and Tarushima-no-kami, and in the Kogoshuui, it is described as "the spirit of Oyashima". The founding date is unknown. It was ranked as a Myojin Taisha in the Engi system. It has been worshiped by feudal lords since ancient times, and during the Tenbun era (1532-1555), the Takeda clan, as well as the feudal lords of Kai (Yamanashi Prefecture), Shinano (Nagano Prefecture), and Kozuke (Gunma Prefecture), renovated the shrine buildings from time to time and offered prayers and oaths to worship it. Currently, 83 of these prayers and oaths are preserved as treasures. Former Kokuhei-chusha. The main hall is located on an island in the middle of a pond, and the inner sanctuary has no floorboards, with the dirt floor serving as a substitute for the deity. The annual festival is held on September 19th. The Shikinen Onbashira Grand Festival is held from April 17th to 19th in the year of the Monkey and Tiger. Also, every year on the night of November 3rd, the deity of the auxiliary shrine Suwa Shrine, which faces the main hall, is moved to the main hall, and an Okomori ritual is held in which porridge is boiled and offered to the deity until April 13th of the following year.
