A mountain in the Black Hills in western South Dakota, USA, that was considered sacred by the Sioux Indians. Huge sculptures of four presidents, Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and T. Roosevelt, are on the cliffs of the Granite Rocks and can be seen from 100 km away. They were completed by the father and son Borglum between 1927 and 1941, and are designated as a national monument.
