Sheng-yu guang-xun; Shêng-yü kuang-hsün

A teaching document distributed by the Yongzheng Emperor of the Qing Dynasty in China to educate the masses. It is also called the Ten Thousand Words Teaching because it is 10,000 characters long. It is an article-by-article interpretation of the 16 sacred teachings created by the Kangxi Emperor in 1724. The contents are centered on the morals and duties that the people should observe in their townships, clarifying each person's role and aiming to achieve results in governance through observance of these.

中国，清の雍正帝が民衆教化のため頒布した教訓。字数1万に及んだので万言諭ともいう。康煕帝が作成した聖諭 16条を雍正2 (1724) 年逐条的に解釈したもので，内容は民衆が郷にあって守るべき道徳，義務を中心にしたものであり，各自の分を明らかにし，その遵守によって支配の実をあげようとした。
