Ennis
A city in County Clare in the southwest of Ireland. The county capital. The River Fergus flows through the city. It originated from Ennis Abbey, founded in the 13th century, and flourished through commerce and industry from the 18th century onwards. A traditional music festival called Freannure is held every May.
