Zama Shrine

Japanese: 坐摩神社 - ざまじんじゃ

The ancient reading is written as Ikasuri, and it is located in Kyutaro-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. It was formerly a Kanpei-chusha (medium-sized shrine). It is commonly called Zama-san. It enshrines Ikui-no-kami, Sakui-no-kami, Tsunagai-no-kami, Haiki-no-kami, and Asuha-no-kami. All of them were enshrined in the Imperial Palace as the spirits of Omiyachi. The annual festival is held on April 22nd, and is also called the Flower Offering Festival. Other events include the Torikake Shinji (November 16th).

古訓はヰカスリと表記され，大阪市中央区久太郎町に鎮座。旧官幣中社。俗に〈ざまさん〉と呼ぶ。生井(いくい)神，福井(さくい)神，綱長井(つながい)神，波比祇(はいき)神，阿須波(あすは)神をまつる。いずれも大宮地の霊として宮中にまつられた。例祭は４月22日で，献花祭ともいわれる。ほかに鳥懸神事（11月16日）など。
