Eucharistic procession - Seitai Gyoretsu
The term is a translation of German Fronleichnamsprozession and English eucharistic procession, and is one of the devotions to the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. Usually, a cross is carried at the front, followed by altar boys and girls in white robes, then a priest holding a monstrance in the center of a portable canopy, followed by monks and laity. A custom that spread from Germany in the late Middle Ages.
