Sand painting
〘 noun 〙 A picture drawn by pouring sand onto the ground little by little with a hand. A picture drawn in sand. In the Edo period, a street performer would perform a spectacle using white sand or five-colored sand. [Essays, Morisada Manko (1837-53)]
